| Narrative | On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at about 10:16 pm, I, Sergeant Toby Miller of the Bainbridge Public Safety Department was dispatched to 901Maple Avenue, Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia, for a Domestic Disturbance between the caller's brother and girlfriend. I arrived to find the caller, identified as Jacoby Cosby and his brother's girlfriend, identified as Keonna Jackson, at the residence. Jackson was gathering her personal belongings saying she was leaving. I attempted to speak with Jackson about the detalls of what occurred and was unable to gather much information at first. Jackson was dealing with two small children and upset, so I spoke with Jacoby. Jacoby told me his brother, identified as Jamorris Cosby, had been caught talking to another female by Jackson again. Jacoby said Jackson and Cosby began arguing and then started "tussling" with each other. He said he called his mother and father to help break them up. Jacoby said his mother, identified as Latisha Cosby arrived and was able to get Jamorris to leave after they heard Jacoby was calling law enforcement. Jacoby provided phone numbers for both Jamorris and Latisha. I returned to Jackson, who had calmed somewhat, and she told me she had found Jamorris was messaging a female in his phone. She said Jamorris showed up at the house in a white Dodge Charger with Kareem Baulkman and Tyrese Register. She said Jamorris came out of the car and shoved her to the ground outside. She said she got back up and began trying to fight Jamorris. She said she went inside and Jamorris followed her where he shoved her down in the closet and held her there. Jackson said they then made their way into the living room of the home where Jamorris' mother and Jamorris pinned her to the ground, where Jackson said she could not breathe. |
