Mr. Kerry W. Keel, age 72, passed away August 7, 2024, at Bainbridge Healthcare in Bainbridge, Georgia. A service to honor Mr. Keel will be held in Daleville, Alabama, where he lived for many years.
Kerry W. Keel was born January 3, 1952, in Hampton, Virginia, to Thomas Kell and Elizabeth Meeks Keel. His parents have preceded him in death. He proudly served as a Tech Sergeant in the Air Force, serving in Vietnam. Kerry was such an intelligent person. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked as a scuba instructor and loved amateur radio. He actually worked on radios while serving in the military. Kind and caring of others, he will be dearly missed.
Kerry was predeased by his parents, his sisters Shirley Jeanne Kingsley, Mickey Moore, and Betty Keel, his brother Daniel Keel and stepmother Helen Keel along with great nephew James Wells. He is survived by nephews Thomas (Sharon) Moore, Joseph Moore and Richard Kingsley, nieces Susan Montalvo and Naomi (Andrew) Avery along with many great nieces and nephews.
