Inspector Notes: During chemical testing, observed cyanuric acid level exceeding 100 ppm. Maximum level is 90 ppm. Adjust water chemistry to ideal CA level of 30-50 ppm.

Inspector Notes: Observed flow meter present, but flow meter appeared inoperable/not working. Flow bottomed out and not moving. Repair or replace flow meter immediately.


36 – daily recordkeeping: water testing and self inspection performed

511-3-5-.22(12) – (12) a safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Inspector Notes: Reviewed swimming pool records. Records provided indicate CPO Langston is making a visit one a week. Swimming pool regulations require contracted CPO to perform a minimum to two visits weekly and provide documentation of pool conditions, review daily self-checks, and review pool’s assigned responsible persons records between CPO visits. Facility is required to have a trained responsible person or operator who is capable of performing daily chemical checks, making water/chemical adjustments and performing daily self-check. Facility is to have responsible person on staff and trained within 21 days. Until such time facility has trained responsible person, CPO is required to perform daily chemical checks, adjustments, and self-checks. Provided general manager with DPH Pool Guidance documents to review and start using records and logs provided.
