The Sunbelt Ag Expo is an annual event that many Bainbridge FFA members look forward to attending. This year, the Bainbridge FFA Chapter was able to take 45 members to the expo. The Sunbelt Ag Expo is an agricultural-based trade show held at Spence Field in Moultrie, Ga. Known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show”® the annual event has more than 1200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in farming technology. Students were able to demonstrate skills needed in the agricultural mechanics industry by participating in the Welding Demonstration. In addition, students were able to visit over 300 colleges and technical schools that meet their academic and career needs. Bainbridge FFA members were sitting on the edge of their seats while learning about electricity safety at this year’s EMC booth. EMC hosted high voltage demonstrations that are important for all viewers because of the dangers that can be associated with electricity. We were so thrilled to be able to take students back to this farm show and exposition. Thank you to the Decatur County Young Farmers for providing lunch for our students.
