On Monday, January 15, 2018, at approximately 1634 hours, Sergeant Shelby Gale was located in the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to Stolen Property.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at approximately 1319 hours, Deputy Charles King was responding to Floyd Road inference to a fight. E-911 informed Deputy King that both parties involved in the fight were in vehicles and getting on the by-pass.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at approximately 1500 hours, Sergeant Shelby Gale responded to Oak City Auto to speak with Charles Wells, in reference to Stolen Property. Upon arrival, Sgt. Gale made contact with Wells who stated someone had dissembled a shed and stole the wood at his rental house located at 144 Dodson Drive.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at approximately 1245 hours, Sergeant Shelby Gale was contact via cell phone by Belinda Wells in reference to two of her Theft of Dogs. Belinda stated her Miniature Poodle and Yorkie was missing.

On Thursday, January 18, 2018, at approximately 1708 hours, Deputy Jontauras Osborne was dispatched to 141 Dempsey Road, in reference to a Domestic.

On Friday, January 19, 2018, at approximately 9:00 AM Investigator Vincent Edmond was located in the secondary courtroom at the Decatur County Courthouse located at 112 E. Water Street. Inv. Edmond could smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the person of Kim Patterson. Investigator Vincent Edmond charged Kim Patterson with Possession of Marijuana, Less Than an Ounce.

On Friday, January 19, 2018, at 2141 hours, Deputy Matt Reynolds and Deputy Michael Musgrove were dispatched to 243 New Home Church Rd., in reference to a Domestic. Deputy Reynolds arrived on scene at 2141 hours. Deputy Reynolds made contact with Elisha Mascaro. Mascaro stated that she and Chris Newsome had been arguing.

On Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 0128 hours, Deputy Matt Reynolds and Deputy Cody Vaughn responded to 128 Black Jack Rd., Lot #14, in reference to a Unknown Disturbance.

On Saturday, January 20, 2018, at approximately 0834 hours, Deputy Charles was on routine patrol on Barber Road. Deputy King noticed a white GMC pickup sitting in the road way, on Barber Road just south of Spring Creek Road. Deputy King stopped in front of the truck and called to E-911 that he would be checking on this vehicle. Deputy King then walked to the drive side of the truck, and noticed that the driver appeared to be passed out behind the wheel.

OFFENDER: JOSH SAYRE / TAM NIGUYEN

Agency Assist: On 01/20/2018, at approximately 0000 hours, Sgt. Presilla was located at Action GM, in Bainbridge Ga. When a vehicle pursuit began in the City of Bainbridge by Bainbridge Public Safety. Sgt. Presilla was sitting next to Georgia State Patrol Officer Merchant. Bainbridge Public Safety requested G.S.P. to assist with the pursuit. Sgt. Presilla advised E-911 that Sgt. Presilla would assist G.S.P. with the pursuit. Nguyen was placed in Deputy Vaughn’s Car for transport to Decatur County Jail and Sayre was placed in Deputy Reynolds car for transport to Bainbridge Public Safety. Both subjects were transported without incident and turned over for processing.

On Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 2222 hours, Decatur County Sheriff Deputy Codey Vaughn responded to 131 Floyd Road, in Decatur County, in reference to a Disturbance. While in route to 131 Floyd Road, Decatur/ Grady E911 Dispatch Center advised responding units that the male subject was wearing a black jacket with grey pants took off running into the woods.

On Saturday, January 20, 2017, at 2054 hours, Deputy Garrett Wooten was contacted by Deputy Michael Musgrove, who was off duty at the time. Deputy Musgrove was located with Angel Brown and Veronica Griffin. Brown advised that she wanted a No-Contact Order in place between her ex, James Hurley. Griffin also advised that she also wanted a No-Contact Order in place against Hurley, due to Hurley Harassing Text Messages and Calls.

On Sunday, January 21, 2018, at approximately 1641 hours, Deputy Gabriel Cofer responded to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office front lobby, in reference to a walk in report of Possible Animal Cruelty. Deputy Cofer informed LeCates that he would complete and incident report and contact Decatur County Animal Control Officer Jeff Turner and inform him of the situation.
