Chuck Laslie

December 14, 1952 – October 27, 2026

Chuck Laslie, 73, of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Chuck spent his life in South Georgia and North Florida, where he built a life around the work he loved and the people who mattered to him. He was a member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee and had a genuine affection for people. Chuck enjoyed visiting with others and had a way of making time for the people he came across in his day-to-day life.

Work was a big part of Chuck’s life, and he enjoyed farming, flying, and the “car business”. He had a special interest in old gas engines, particularly the old flywheel “hit and miss” engines fascinated him. He made his rounds, checked on things, and took notice of the farm he called home. The Billy Goat (his golf cart) served him well on these daily tours.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, June Rich Laslie; his sons, Preston Laslie (Danielle) and Charles Laslie (Jessica); his grandchildren, Hunter & Jack; his sister, Anne Laslie Bevis; and a host of extended family. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, W.T. “Squint” Laslie & Connie Roberts Laslie.
