Mr. John Kenneth (Ken) Hobbs, age 72, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Cummings, Georgia.
Services for Mr. Hobbs were held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., graveside, in Attapulgus Cemetery, Attapulgus, Georgia. The Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiated.
Ken Hobbs was born August 2, 1953, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to John H. Hobbs and Willie Mae Petis Hobbs. He and his siblings grew up in Attapulgus, Georgia. Ken honorably served in the Army National Guard and was a long-haul truck driver. He married Laura McPherson Hobbs, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, Gary Hobbs (Sarah) of Donalsonville, Georgia, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two sisters.
