Julian DeBary, age 91, of Bainbridge passed away on October 12, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Services for Mr. DeBary will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Anderson officiating. Mr. DeBary will be privately interred at Roselawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Randal Padgett, Ritchie Cox, Leeland Chandler, Travis Pelle, Dennis Mock, and Brandon Conley.
Julian DeBary was born on November 26, 1933, in Miller County, Georgia, to Lewis B. DeBary and Willie Mae Haire DeBary. Julian was a 1954 graduate of Miller County High School and was retired from Merck Chemicals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wilson DeBary. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish as well as travel. He was quiet by nature but loved to visit with his family, where he loved to talk and catch up with them.
Mr. DeBary is survived by his sister, Margaret Ann Padgett (Randal) of Colquitt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, his parents, and his siblings, Andrew DeBary, Lois Nix, Hoke DeBary, and Johnny DeBary.
