Jerry and Ken were our neighbors in Jacksonville Fl for more than 30 years. Jerry was a most thoughtful and caring family friend all of these years. If Jerry heard you were ill you could expect to see him at your door with a complete evening meal for two. His home and yard were his pride and joy. His eye for interior design was impeccable and his home reflected his tasteful artwork and furnishings. After retirement you could depend on seeing Jerry drive up our street every day around noon in his black Caddy on his way to Winn-Dixie to purchase fresh meats and vegetables for their evening meals. When Jerry told us he planned to move to Bainbridge to be closer to family we were saddened but knew it was the right thing for him to do., He was crazy about his sister June and loved to talk about her and her thriving Epic Design business. I’m so saddened to learn of his passing but so happy he was able to spend the time he so desperately desired to spend with June and his family.
Peace, Love and Blessings Jerry,

I am so very sad to hear about Jerry. I worked with Jerry at International Interiors for years & he & Ken were 2 of my best friends at that time – both such very creative people. I was looking for him for 2 purposes – I wanted to tell him about my & Mac’s 40 year anniversary (he was there when we first began dating) and also to see where he would like Ken’s artwork to go when we pass, as we have several really nice pieces of his.
It sounds as if you were very good neighbors and friends of his. We went by to see him some years ago & his home was truly what you described. What a great loss…
