Something You’ve Never Seen God Do

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jeremiah 33: 3 KJV).

God is a prayer answering God. He says as much in our text. The Bible is full of examples where men, women, and nations called out to God, and He answered them.

The Bible records the accounts of the “great and mighty things” God has done in answer to prayer.

We know that in answer to prayer, God delivered Israel out of Egypt, parted the Red Sea, gave manna from heaven, gave victory on the battlefield, restored the dead to life, made the sun stand still, made the barren womb to conceive, sent fire down from heaven, just to name a few. We know first because God said it and second because He proved that there is nothing impossible for Him to do.

God has said to us today, for the dead cannot call on God, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” We have read, seen, and heard of some great and mighty things which God has done, but God is encouraging us to call on Him and ask for some great and mighty thing which “thou knowest not” or which we have not seen.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He can still do great and mighty things today as He did in the past.

The one great and mighty thing that I call unto God for which I have never seen is revival of the churches in America. The Church is the biggest problem in our nation, and authentic God-sent revival is the only solution. For this, I pray and hope to see.
