| Narrative | On December 15, 2023, at approximately 0116 hours, Sergeant Jordan Phillips was patrolling the area of the Bypass and Spring Creek Road. While in the area, Sgt. Phillips observed a black in color truck parked on the on ramp to Spring Creek, with its hazard lights flashing. Sgt. Phillips pulled behind the vehicle and activated the emergency lighting on his patrol vehicle. Sgt. Phillips ran Louisiana license plate through E911. Sgt. Phillips began to exit his patrol vehicle when the black in color Ford Sport Trac began pulling off. Sgt. Phillips returned to his patrol vehicle and waited for the return on the tag. E911 advised Sgt. Phillips that the tag returned to a white in color 2015 Mini Cooper. Sgt. Phillips caught up to the black Sport Trac and stopped it in the area of the Bypass and Fowlstown Road overpass. |
