Inspector Notes: Current gas fired inspection report could not be located. Facility had fire extinguishers inspected 8/4/22. Friend from American Inn helping Mrs. Patel stated all the hotels have the inspection performed at the same time. Advised owner and friend that if current report can be produced I will go back and note and change inspection report. All gas fired equipment is to be inspected and report on file and available by 9/6/22.

Advised owner and friend that room is not to be offered to rent to guest until shower knob/handle is repaired or replaced. Observe threshold at bathroom door is missing. Appeared to have a marble threshold previously. Advised owner and friend that threshold is to be replaced by 9/6/22.

Inspector Notes: RM 118; Observed mold growth on bed headboard and on dresser and other furniture in room at time of inspection. Room smelled musty and moldy. Room apparently has not been rented in some time and no ventilation exchange in room. Advised Owner and friend to clean that mold in room and on furniture is to be cleaned to sight and touch and recommended HVAC unit be ran to prevent future mold growth.

Inspector Notes: Observed carpet in Rooms 112, 118 and 120 to not be clean to sight. Carpet had visible dirt and debris and did not appear to have been vacuumed since last guest visit. Advised Owner and friend that carpet is to be vacuumed and clean prior to renting room to next guest.

Inspector Notes: Observed walls and ceilings, bathroom doors in rooms 112, 118, and 120 to be very dirty, dingy, stained/discolored, etc. Walls and ceilings are to be cleaned to sight and touch and may require washing and or painting. Walls are to be cleaned and/or painted by 9/30/22.

Inspector Notes: RM 120: Observed inside refrigerator to not be clean to sight and touch. Debris was left inside refrigerator and appeared to have not been cleaned since last guest visit. Advised owner and friend that refrigerator is to be clean to sight and touch prior to next guest visit. RM 130; Observed busted dresser and drawer missing from dresser. Dresser appears to be beyond repair. Advised owner and friend that dresser is to be discarded and replaced by 9/6/22 or room is not to be rented to guest until dresser is replaced. Observed right bed/wall lamp inoperable and has torn and busted lamp shade. Electrical cord is wrapped around lamp. Advised owner and friend that lamp is to be repaired or replaced by 9/6/22. All rooms inspected were not clean to sight or touch as specified in Tourist Accommodation Rules or guest expectations. Dressers and night stand had debris trash, etc. Coat hanger and deodorant cap were noted in table in Room 112. Room 112; observed cigarette butt and trash noted in microwave at time of inspection. Owner and friend stated that housekeeping staff cannot be kept on payroll or will not show up for work. Advised owner and friend that all rooms are to meet minimum standards for cleanliness and furnishings prior to being offered to guest.
