Deputy Director Frank Green with Director Jerry Carter
Submitted by Bainbridge Public Safety
TODAY, Wednesday, December 30th, is a BIG DAY at Bainbridge Public Safety…it’s the day that Director Jerry Carter culminates his tenure with us after 43 YEARS!!!
We invite the public to join us in wishing him well in his retirement. Today between 1pm and 3pm you may drive through the driveway of Bainbridge Public Safety at 510 East Louise Street. Director Carter will be out front and will appreciate the kind gestures of waves or horn honks as you pass by in your vehicle. ***Due to COVID concerns, no one will be allowed to park or exit their vehicles.
Director Jerry Carter was raised in Eldorendo and is a proud graduate of Bainbridge High School. Before joining Bainbridge Public Safety in 1977, he served as the Assistant Manager at Jack’s Hamburgers. He is married to Vantillia and together they share six daughters and 7 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, tinkering with his antique automobiles, and spending time with the members of Freddy Boy’s Motorsports Club.
Congratulations, Jerry.
Jerry: For a great law enforcement career to an old fellow ball player from an old ball player.
