Long Farms celebrated it’s 35th anniversary on Friday, October 9th with a ribbon cutting provided by the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce. Long Farms is a family owned and operated farm which is currently raising it’s 5th generation. The farm spans over several hundreds of acres and is quite diversified in nature. The farm produces cotton, peanuts, corn, hay, and beef cattle, along with a 100+ acre u-pick vegetable operation. Dubbed “The Walmart of U-Pick Operations,” Jerry and Janice Long along with their son Justin and his wife, Kellie have grown the operation to encompass everything from sweet potatoes to sunflowers, cantaloupe to purple hull peas and everything in between! Don’t miss out on the pumpkins which are available now at 2822 Old Whigham Rd, Bainbridge, GA 39817.
