Anna Kinchen has been named the Communications and Events Coordinator for The Bainbridge – Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.
Kinchen attend the Savannah College of Arts and Design and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography and a minor in graphic design. She previously worked for an Atlanta-based photographer before moving back to Bainbridge to open her own photography studio in 2010.
“Anna is a great addition to the chamber. Being an entrepreneur herself, Anna understands the perspective of the business owner in Bainbridge while also possessing the technical skills and experience to excel at her new position,” said Lauren Minor, Chamber President. “There is no doubt the experience she has in beginning and growing her own business will serve our members well.”
The Chamber has been in search of an individual to fill the open position since January 25th of this year. Kinchen assumed her role at the Chamber of Commerce on Monday, March 4th.
“For the last 9 years I have owned a local photography and graphic design business that served clients on a national level. In that time frame I also developed skills to include large scale event planning and execution at diverse locations, financial planning, print and social media marketing, web design and content writing. Fresh ideas, positive collaborations with vendors, consistency in client relations and quality of work have proven to me to be what clients appreciate the most. I believe in the Chamber of Commerce’s focus on strengthening Bainbridge through economic development and providing advocacy opportunities among businesses through engaging events. I am very excited to offer my experience, foundation in marketing and creative passion to a team environment where the focus is “bettering business” in our community.” – Anna Kinchen
