Mrs. Bessie Hand, age 88, passed way Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Bainbridge Healthcare and Rehab, Bainbridge, Georgia. The family will hold a service in Mrs. Hand’s honor at a later date.
Bessie Della Mae Richardson was born April 22, 1930 in Colquitt, Georgia. Her parents, Robert Lee Richardson and Nancy Lou Wade Richardson have both preceded her in death. Bessie married Earl Hand, who has passed away.
Bessie Hand is survived by her children, Jorene Knight of Wewahitchka, Florida, Linda Johnson of Savannah, Georgia, Cecil Cox of Savannah, Ben Cox of Augusta, Georgia, and Brenda Phillips of Savannah; and her sister, Ella Carr of Albany, Georgia.
