On Tuesday, February 5, 2021, at approximately 1330 hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Monteze McCall was on duty, located in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia, when he received a call from Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Jail Administrator Captain Donna Thompson. Captain Thompson advised Investigator McCall that Stanley Cloud, an inmate, broke the window located in cell block nine.

On Friday, March 12, 2021, at approximately 0728 hours, Dep. Timothy Fowler, Investigator Vincent Edmonds, sergeant Edwin Harvey and other officials from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Tallahassee Highway, in reference to a high-speed pursuit coming out of Havana, Florida. Upon arrival in the area, Dep. Fowler listened to radio traffic advising a black in color Toyota was traveling at a high rate of speed, after trying to run over two Gadsden County Deputies, in Havana, Florida. Gwendolyn was apprehended and transported to the Decatur County Jail.
