William Earl Hutto was born June 12, 1952, in Jacksonville, Florida to Malcolm Lee Hutto and Cladys Mable Brock Hutto. The Huttos moved around a bit and settled in Decatur County to raise their family. In 1973, Billy started working for CSX Transportation and began working on the railroad. He had found his life’s calling. He started as a laborer and worked until he was made foreman with crews of 60 – 200 men. He loved his job and the men he worked with.  Billy took care of his crew and helped them in any manner, making him a favorite foreman. He loved to laugh and enjoyed being with his friends. For Billy, family was first.  He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather. He was a member of Climax Methodist Church. Billy loved sitting outside and enjoying God’s creation. He enjoyed riding horses, planting his garden, and being with his chickens. Drinking Coke and really cold milk made him happy. Billy will never be forgotten and will be forever missed.

Billy Hutto is survived by his wife, Dixie Hutto; children, Heather Hutto – Leon (Derek), Heath Hutto (Amee), and Sylena Hutto Presilla (John); grandchildren, Mykaya Hutto, Cole Moore, Nyleigh Hutto, Addy Rae Watson, Julia Hutto, and Hawk Hutto; siblings, Joyce Dawes (Bob), Ed Hutto, and June Faircloth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
