Brazilian Taste Recalls Frozen Chicken and Beef Croquette Products Due to Misbranding and an Undeclared Allergen

Brazilian Taste, a Lexington, S.C. establishment, is recalling approximately 4,120 pounds of chicken and beef croquettes due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced todayThe product contains sesame, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The chicken croquettes were produced from March 4, 2025, to August 19, 2025. The beef croquettes were produced on June 2, 2025. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]:

17.63-oz. plastic bag packages containing 5 “SAINT COXINHA XL CHICKEN CROQUETTES” with “best by” dates ranging “11/04/2025” to “04/19/2026” printed on the back of the packaging.

 

15.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing 15 “SAINT COXINHA CHICKEN CROQUETTES” with “best by” dates ranging “11/04/2025” to “04/19/2026” printed on the back of the packaging.

 

13.7-oz. plastic bag packages containing 13 “SAINT COXINHA GROUND BEEF CROQUETTE RISOLE DE CARNE” with “best by” date “02/02/2026” printed on the back of the packaging.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-45640” or “Est. 45640” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas, as well as nationwide through online sales.

The problem was discovered when the Food and Drug Administration notified FSIS that bread crumb ingredients shared between FDA-regulated and FSIS-regulated products produced at the facility contained sesame that may not have been declared on the labels of the FSIS-regulated products.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.  

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Wheat in Haagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in 6 Count Pack

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of its Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars that may contain undeclared wheat. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The affected product is Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in the 6-count package with batch code LLA519501 and a Best By date of January 31, 2027.

The affected product was shipped to two retail customers, Kroger and Giant Eagle, in the following states:

Kroger: (AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, OH, OR, SC, TN, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY)

Giant Eagle: (IN, MD, OH, PA, WV)

Batch codes can be identified on the product packaging. Please use the reference images below and look for the batch code LLA519501 under “Best By 31 JAN 2027.”

No other Häagen-Dazs products or other batches of Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars are affected by this recall.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date. We are recalling this product because it may contain products that contain wheat in packaging that does not reveal the presence of wheat on the label. Although our investigation is ongoing, we believe products containing wheat were repacked into the incorrect packaging at the beginning of a production run.

Consumers with a wheat allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product are urged not to consume the product and instead dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund.

The safety, quality, and integrity of our products remain our number one priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action represents to both our consumers and retail customers.

We are working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on this voluntary recall and will cooperate with them fully.

Supreme Produce LLC Voluntarily Recalls Moonlight Peaches Because of Possible Health Risk

Supreme LLC. (dba Supreme Produce) is notifying customers of a voluntary recall initiated by its supplier, Moonlight Companies, Moonlight Companies on white and yellow flesh peaches, due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recall affects only the items listed below. Impacted products are no longer available for sale but, customer should look in their refrigerators.

The product is being recalled due to peaches purchased from our retailer have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or older adults, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Recalled produce was distributed in Kroger retail stores under the Supreme Produce brand within locations located in the following states: IL, CO, GA, WA, IN, MS, TN, AR, OR, MI.

Products are packaged in clear-plastic grab-n-go containers containing 14oz with the appearance of peach salsa. Retail packaged items:

The potential contamination was discovered by Moonlight Peaches who initiated their voluntary recall after they determined that the yellow and white flesh peaches have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled peaches were sold at retail stores nationwide between September 16, 2025, and October 29, 2025.

The peaches were either sold as individual pieces of fruit bearing PLU stickers or as multi-packs. This recall does not include packages or PLU stickers with the words “Washington” and/or “Organic.” There have been no illnesses or consumer complaints reported to date for items purchased from Supreme.

What You Should Do: Consumers should not consume and discard the product. The product(s) involved are no longer available for sale and most are past its shelf life and should already be out of distribution, but if consumers have any product they question, do not consume it, but rather discard it.
