William Barnes Ingram

William Barnes Ingram, 76, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Bainbridge, GA. Private family services will be held.

William “Bill” Barnes Ingram was born September 6, 1948, in Athens, GA to Oel Barnes Ingram, Jr. and Wilhelmina Taylor Ingram. Bill was a veteran, who served in the United States Air Force. Bill retired from his career as a telephone lineman and then went on to advise Home Depot customers on electrical and plumbing. He spent many hours holding his trio of pooches while enjoying the numerous birds at his feeders. He was a master of “dad jokes”. Above all, Bill doted on his grandchildren.

William Barnes Ingram is survived by his wife, Beth Ingram; his daughter, Tiffany Clark and her husband, Michael; his granddaughter, Madison McDonald and her husband, Bo; and his grandson, Tanner Clark all of Bainbridge; his sisters, Frances Smith of Hahira and Cathy Ingram of Moultrie; and numerous nieces & nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Oel Barnes Ingram and Wilhelmina Ingram Plymel, his son, Jeremy Ingram, and his siblings, David Ingram and Teresa Rodriguez.
