Betty Jean Clark was born October 25, 1935, in Donalsonville, GA, the daughter of Rob & Berta Howard Clark. She married James B. “Jimmy” Ward, Jr. in 1953, and they made their home in Bainbridge. Betty retired as an inspector for United Plastics. She was Baptist by faith.
Family gatherings were the epitome of a good time for Betty. She loved nothing more than preparing a good southern meal for all to enjoy. When the weather permitted, Betty was working in her yard or casting a line at her favorite fishing holes.
