Willa Eason Bell, 89, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Willa Dean Eason was born February 10, 1937, in Appling County, GA, the daughter of Jim & Alma Tootle Eason. She was a graduate of Appling County High School. Willa worked as a Soft Lines Manager at Kmart for 34 years and after retirement held the same position at Roses for many years. She was Baptist by faith. Willa was a hardworking woman who found joy in the simple things in life. In her younger years, she enjoyed working on the farm alongside her father and playing basketball. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who cared deeply for her family. Willa was a loyal employee who took great pride in her work and truly enjoyed the people she worked with. Her coworkers and customers were more than just people she saw on the job; they became friends and family she valued deeply.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Morrison (Matt) and Buddy Bell (Jenny); her grandchildren, Caroline, Katherine & Wes, and Kerry & Wendell; her great-grandchildren Savannah and George along with a host of extended family. In additions to her parents, Willa was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bell; her siblings, James, S.L., Verna Mae, and Jonah Faye.
