Mack Sasser Moran, 75, of Suwanee, previously of Bainbridge, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

Mack Sasser Moran was born August 1, 1951, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Frank & Elah Sasser Moran. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1969. Mack proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Though his heart was in Bainbridge, Mack lived for forty-plus years in the Atlanta area. Most recently, he served as Events Coordinator for Chick-fil-A in Buford. He was a member of 12 Stone Church of Buford.
Mack was a man with a big personality, a welcoming smile, and an even bigger heart. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. His strong Christian faith was an important part of his life, and he tried to live true to the golden rule.
A patriot at heart, Mack loved his country, good food, attending concerts, and cheering on his beloved Dawgs. He was a trivia pro who seemed to know a little about everything and never missed a chance to share in friendly competition. Mack enjoyed karaoke, even if his singing ability didn’t always match his enthusiasm. His outgoing nature, quick wit, and genuine love for people will be remembered by all he encountered.
Survivors include his siblings, Mary & Bob Gibson, Paul & Barbara Moran, Lisa & Phillip Jarrell, and Jeff & Karen Moran; his nieces & nephews, Katrina, Darrell, Paul Jr., Phillip Jr., John, Haylie, Ashley, Kasey & Matt; his great-nieces & nephews, Kallie, Savannah, Hunter, Phoenix, Walker, Waylon, Henry, Maddie Mae, McKenzie & Reese; and a host of extended family and friends who were like family. In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by his brother, John Frank Moran, Jr.
