Mr. John Daniel Chesser, age 42, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Moultrie, Georgia.
Services for Mr. Chesser will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 3:00 pm, in the chapel of Colquitt County Regional Medical Center, Moultrie, Georgia. Chaplain Hugh Ward will officiate.
John Daniel Chesser was born on November 19, 1983, in Jacksonville, Florida, and later made his home in Moultrie, Georgia. John was the beloved son of John A. Chesser and Carmen D. Chesser. He is survived by his father, John A. Chesser; his sisters, Brandi Davis (Jerry) and Brittany Chesser; his brother, David Chesser; and the love of his life, Daniel Thomas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen D. Chesser.
John was a man who found joy in the simple wonders of the outdoors. He had a unique fascination with nature and was especially known for his willingness to catch bugs, snakes, and any other animal he could find. His curiosity and fearlessness were just a part of what made him so memorable to those who knew him. John was a skilled heavy equipment operator and had a natural talent for operating machinery. He also possessed a knack for electronics and could often figure out how things worked when others could not. His abilities, curiosity, and determination were qualities that set him apart. Above all, John will be remembered for the life he shared with the people who loved him. His presence, personality, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
