| Narrative | On November 2, 2023, in the afternoon hours, Investigator Sam Hughes was reviewing the Sex Offender Files, when he discovered offender, Larry Rhodes, had not completed his yearly registration with the Decatur County Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Registry. Rhodes is required by law under O.C.G.A. 42-1-12 to register with the Decatur County Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Registry seventy-two hours prior to his birthday each year. At this time, Rhodes has not completed his yearly registration and Investigator Hughes will be applying for a warrant for Failure to Register / Sex Offender. Larry Rhodes was arrested and booked in to the Decatur County Jail. |
