All Bearcat fans are encouraged to wear PURPLE at the game vs Brooks County next Friday, September 29th. In addition to supporting the Bearcats, wearing purple, the color of the Alzheimer’s movement, will honor the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and the millions more who care for them.
Alzheimer’s Walk volunteers will be present at an informational table near the Bearcat Shack and will offer purple bracelets and Bearcat fans. Donations will be accepted.
So leave your gold at home and wear Purple to show your support for the Bearcats and Alzheimer’s! Many thanks to Bainbridge High School and the BHS cheerleaders for leading this effort.
The seventh annual Bainbridge Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on the square in downtown Bainbridge on October 21st.
