| Narrative | On March 30, 2023, at approximately 1156 hours, Deputy Sam Hughes was in the 2300 block of Bethel Road looking for an escaped inmate from the City of Bainbridge. Deputy Hughes observed a male subject walking North on Bethel Road in the roadway that matched the approximate description of the escaped inmate. Deputy Hughes stopped the subject and began speaking with him. Deputy Hughes gathered the subject's information who identified himself as Brian Myrick. Deputy Hughes had 911 run Myrick's information through GCIC. Myrick came back as wanted through the Decatur County Sheriff's Office for Probation Violation O/C Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree. Deputy Hughes then arrested Myrick for his Outstanding Warrant. Myrick was transported to the Decatur County Jail where he was turned over to the jail staff. |
