Bainbridge Wrestling had its eyes set on an Elite Eight return, with a goal of a Final Four finish. Though this goal will not be obtained, this season, the Bearcat Wrestling team should feel good knowing where they finished. The Bearcats end up the 9th ranked team ahead of this weeks State Championship matches between the Elite Eight members (Seeded 1st-8th: Southeast Whitfield, Sonoraville, Troup County, Heritage-Catoosa, North Oconee, Central Carrolton, Chestatee, Lovett).

Bainbridge will have one more month of wrestling. Individual Region will be February 4 in Columbus, Ga. Top four wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the Individual State Qualifier, February 10-11, in Atlanta. The top six wrestlers in each weight class will advance to the Individual State Championship, in Macon, February 15-18.
