| Narrative | On Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at 0841 hours, Bainbridge Public Safety Officer Charlie Emanuel responded to 517 S Lamar Street in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia, in reference to Entering Auto. On arrival, Emanuel spoke with the complainant, Samuel Gonzalez. Gonzalez stated he arrived home on October 11th, 2022, at 1700 hours. Gonzalez stated he was tired from work and can not recall if he secured his vehicle doors. Gonzalez stated he woke up the next morning and saw the drivers side door of his Chevrolet Silverado bearing Georgia tag TGB8181 was partially open at 0730 hours. Gonzalez stated he keeps a black Taurus 9 milimeter handgun, bearing serial number ABC376171, in the center consol of the vehicle. Gonzalez stated the handgun was missing but his debit cards and wallet that were also in the same location were left in the vehicle. This incident was recorded on Emanuel's Axon Body Camera and uploaded to Evidence.com. This case is turned over to investigations. |
