| Narrative | On Sunday, August 21, 2022, at approximately 1237 hours, deputies responded to 135 Neal St., regarding a subject, Colby Smith, whom was reported in the roadway, pointing and shooting arrows, throwing bottles, at subjects riding through; on the roadway. Lt. Trolinger was contact via phone by Donna Avery; whom lives at 145 Neal St. Lt. Trolinger requested Deputy Marvin Knight as well as Sergeant Monteze McCall to respond. Lt. Trolinger arrived on scene and both Dep. Knight and Sgt. McCall were in the yard. Lt. Trolinger exited his patrol vehicle and could hear Colby inside the residence yelling at deputies; cussing and was obviously distraught. Lt Trolinger eventually took cover, in fear of him possessing a bow and arrow, behind a shed which was located on the west end of the home. Colby continued to yell at deputies. Lt. Trolinger noticed smoke coming from both ends of the trailer and suspected Colby had started a fire. |
