Responding deputies located the vehicle on Tallahassee Hwy., just north of the city limits and performed a traffic stop on the offender, later identified as Dontayves Scott. |

| Narrative | On Sunday, August 7, 2022, at approximately 0545 hours, Lieutenant Patrick Trolinger initiated a traffic stop on a white in color Ford Fusion, GA/XMD103, on Alice St., slightly east of Tallahassee Hwy; suspected stolen vehicle. Prior to the traffic stop, dispatch broadcasted a B.O.L.O. for a stolen 2016 Ford Fusion, matching the description in the narrative; previously reported stolen by a Randy Bullock, 1103 Stewart Ave., Bainbridge, Ga., this date. Lt. Trolinger, shortly after the B.O.L.O., was travelling south bound on Spring Creek Rd., around Airport Rd., when he observed a vehicle fitting the description travelling north bound on Spring Creek Rd. Lt. Trolinger turned around, caught up to the vehicle, and verified the tag and description; matching the B.O.L.O. provided by dispatch. Lt. Trolinger followed the vehicle, no lights on, waiting for additional units; travelling south on the bypass, around to the Tallahassee hwy. exit., where the vehicle made a northern turn on Tallahassee Hwy., and an eastern turn on to Alice St. With additional units, Decatur County Sheriff's Office and BPS Officers, Lt. Trolinger activated his lights and sirens, and the suspect vehicle came to a stop on Alice St., and occupants in the vehicle, Autumn Nichole Bramblett (driver) and passenger, Jeremy Wade Jones, were taken into custody for investigative purposes. Both occupants, Jones, and Bramblett, had multiple arrest warrants; Jones was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance; suspected methamphetamine. Investigation was turned over to Bainbridge Public Safety Officers. |
