Brenna Conley was brilliant in the circle on Tuesday, as Conley threw a no-hitter to lead Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity past Shaw (Columbus, GA) 9-0.
Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Kristin Bennett singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity scored three runs in the second inning. Haisten Wilkinson and Kylie Miller all drove in runs in the frame.
Conley was the winning pitcher for Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity. The ace surrendered zero runs on zero hits over five innings, striking out seven.
Savannah Rourk took the loss for Shaw (Columbus, GA). The hurler went five innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out two.
Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity racked up nine hits on the day. Miller, Conley, and Haylee Nix each collected multiple hits for Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity. Nix, Conley, and Miller each managed two hits to lead Bainbridge Lady Cats Varsity.
Lady Cats will be back in action Thursday, Sept 1st, for a double header against Shaw High School. First game starts @ 4pm.
