Car Seat Technician Training

We are all aware that motor vehicle injuries are a leading cause of death among children in the United States.  Many of these deaths can be prevented with the correct use of car seats!

Tuesday May 10, 2022 through Friday, May 13, 2022, the Child Occupant Safety Project will be holding a Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Course in Bainbridge at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center on West Street (John Johnson School).

This training is pertinent for law enforcement, hospital staff, firefighters, EMS personnel, childcare professionals, transportation professionals, and the public at large.

***Course fee is $95 and certification is valid for 3 years

***Deadline to register is May 2nd

TO REGISTER:

Create an account at:  https://cert.safekids.org/log

Once you’ve created an account, look at the top (green lettering) and choose “FIND A COURSE”
 

Look for the Course ID box and enter course ID# GA20220307290 and State: Georgia (Leave the other boxes blank)
 

Click the “Search” box and the course will come up
 

Click on “More Info – Details”
 

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Register for this Course”
 

Finally, scroll to the bottom of this page and click on “Request Approval”
