Carter Arts Series Presents ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ at ABAC Bainbridge February 7

The National Players will present ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ at the Kirbo Center at ABAC Bainbridge on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. as a part of the Carter Arts and Lecture Series.

BAINBRIDGE—The National Players will present an award-winning drama on the Kirbo Center stage at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Bainbridge campus on Feb. 7 with the 6 p.m. production of “A Raisin in the Sun” as a part of the Carter Arts and Lecture Series.

The play brings to live the story of the Younger family as family members dream bigger than the small house where they live on the south side of Chicago in the 1950s. The challenges of an African American family dealing with prejudice, history, and change will come to life in front of the viewing audience.

Three million people have experienced the artistic excellence of the National Players over a span of 72 seasons of brilliant performances across the world.  They will continue their legacy of superb acting with this production in Bainbridge.

All ABAC students will be admitted free.  Adult tickets are $10 each, and kindergarten through 12th grade student tickets are $5 each.
