Pierce Taunton competed in the Skills Challenge held at Spence Field in Moultrie on November 9th. The Skills Challenge competitors in Southwest Georgia Skills Challenge will compete in one of the following categories -Blueprint Reading, Carpentry, Electrical, Masonry, Plumbing, Welding. Pierce competed in the Electrical category. He was tasked with wiring a circuit and demonstrating wiring based on the standard code book that electricians use on jobsites. Pierce won a monetary prize, over $1000 in tools and a full paid scholarship to attend school for 2 years. We are so proud of you Pierce!
