On Monday, October 25, 2021, at approximately 2246 hours, Bainbridge Public Safety Sergeant LaDaric Jones was running moving radar on Highway 84 West bypass near Spring Creek Road Exit in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. Jones was using radar (Serial # RP-25246, Calibration check 2000 hours) in a fixed position. Jones observed a green Ford Ranger traveling an estimated speed of 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Jones activated his radar unit. Jones heard a clear high pitched tone that would indicate a speeding vehicle. Jones look at his radar unit and saw the target speed read 76 mph.
