Taryn Powell advanced to the final round of the Employment Skills LDE. The FFA Employability Skills CDE is designed for FFA members to develop, practice, and demonstrate skills needed in seeking employment in the agricultural industry. Each part of the event simulates “real world” activities that will be used by real world employers. Taryn submitted a cover letter and resume to be evaluated in the preliminary round. There were 19 applicants and out of those applicants, ten were advanced to the final round. Taryn Powell was one of those ten. She competed at the Area 5 Employment Skills LDE on September 28th at Tift County High School and placed 5th!
