$200,000 to build a new fishing dock and kayak launch at Cheney Griffin Park… come on now. Give me a break. Is it going to be made out of gold? No one has a problem spending that kind of money on a recreational addition when there are *SO* many other things that could benefit Bainbridge taxpayers?
$160,000 to Mobile Communications in Tallahassee to outfit 16 new police cars? 10 thousand dollars per car for what, radio/communication/computers? I’d like to know who knows someone at this company to get them this scam of a deal.
You, the taxpayer, are being robbed blind and what do you get in return?
Looks like the City is still at it! Entice some great folks to come in and invest big money and never taking their concerns in consideration. One way traffic in downtown was a done deal way before the council meeting. That’s how they operate! Council is so top heavy with “ELITES” making those decision and not taking the input offered. A survey….who? No one that has any real skin in the game. What say you ???
