Edmond received a phone call from DCSO Chief Inv. Elijah McCoy who reported that there was a Death at 362 Kelly Road Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. Inv. Edmond then ended contact with Chief Inv. McCoy and went in route to this location.

On April 9, 2020, at approximately 0012 hours, Dep. Patrick Wilkinson was sitting stationary in his patrol vehicle on Dothan road, when he observed a white Chevy Blazer SUV with no tag. Sgt. Austin Spence then assisted Dep. Wilkinson in identifying the two other occupants inside the vehicle. One of the occupants was identified as Herbert Donalson. Upon running Donalson through Decatur-Grady 911, it was discovered that Donalson had a Probation Warrant for his arrest out of the Decatur County Sheriff’s office. Dep. Wilkinson then placed Donalson under arrest and transported him to the Decatur County Jail.

On Friday, April 9, 2021, during the morning hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Investigator (Inv.) Vincent Edmond was on duty and located in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. At 0745 hours, Decatur Grady E911 dispatched a call for service, in reference to Suspicious Activity. The caller, reported seeing several real or fake $100 bills alongside the roadway on Old Whigham Road near Hunter Road. Inv. Edmond acknowledged the call and went in route.

Deputy Kirkland was patrolling the area when he discovered a red 2006 Ford F150 wrecked at the intersection of Booster Club Road and Jinks Crossing Road.

On April 10, 2021, at approximately 2259 hours, Dep. Patrick Wilkinson was patrolling south on 27 North, when he observed a vehicle traveling north in the northbound lane with a defective headlight. Dep. Wilkinson then used the turn lane to turn around, entering the northbound lane heading north, where he then got behind the vehicle with the defective headlight; Dep. Wilkinson then made contact with the driver, identified as Jeremy Williams. Dep. Wilkinson asked Williams for his driver’s license, to which Williams stated that he did not have his driver’s license with him, and instead provided Dep. Wilkinson with his name and date of birth. Dep. Wilkinson then ran him through Decatur/Grady-911, where it was discovered that Williams had an Outstanding Probation Warrant for his arrest. Dep. Wilkinson then placed Williams under arrest.
