On Sunday, January 10, 2021, at 1000 hours, Deputy Jackson responded to 2627 Old Whigham Road Lot 24, in Bainbridge, Georgia, in reference to an Altercation between brothers.

On Sunday, January 10, 2021, at approximately 1003 hours, Corporal Aaron Austin and Deputy David Green responded to the land area in between 3236 and 3082 Vada Road, in reference to Suspicious Activity. Upon arrival, Cpl. Austin spoke with Richard Faircloth who stated that when he arrived to go hunting this morning, he noticed the lock to the gate had been cut.

On Friday, January 8, 2021, at approximately 1859 hours, Deputy Vontrail Smith responded to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office parking lot, in reference to Harassment.

On January 09, 2021 at approximately 0030 hours, Decatur County Deputies were dispatched to the address of 283 Hales Landing Road, in reference to an unknown issue. Upon arrival, Deputy David Kirkland, Deputy Vontrail Smith, and Deputy Jordan Phillips made contact with the complainant/victim, Hannah Grimes. Grimes stated that on the date of January 07, 2021 between the hours of 1830 and 1900, she and her boyfriend, Nicholus Gaines got into an argument that turned physical. Gaines was arrested and transported to the Decatur County Jail.

On Monday, January 4, 2021, in the morning hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Investigator (Inv.) Vincent Edmond was on duty and located at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. Inv. Edmond received a phone call from Decatur County Jail Captain Donna Thompson, about an investigation into Contraband found in the jail.

On Friday, January 08, 2021, at 1024 hours, Deputy Chris Jackson and Sgt. Austin Spence responded to 128 Black Jack Road Lt. 1, in Bainbridge, Georgia, in reference to an Assault.

Upon arrival, Jackson spoke with the complainant who was identified as, Albert Perkins. Albert stated his nephew, whom was identified as Joseph Perkins, assaulted Albert and his brother Gary Perkins.

On January 08, 2021, at approximately 1323 hours, Decatur County Sergeant Austin Spence was out at the Sheriff Office lobby, in reference to a Lost Firearm complaint.

  1. WHEN is Bainbridge going to focus on the meth problem they’re facing? There are at least 2 meth arrests each week now. You cannot tell me there aren’t one or two main dealers that these junkies would be willing to snitch on. Someone needs to do their job, or put someone else in charge who can get the job done. This is ridiculous. Also, I hope these “mothers” are getting investigated by DFACS, because I seriously doubt these children are being properly cared for.
