On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Investigator (Inv.) Vincent Edmond was on duty and located at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office in Bainbridge, Georgia. Inv. Edmond was contacted by DCSO Inv. Adam Mobley via radio and asked to respond to the location of a traffic stop on Highway 27 near Johnny Skipper Road in Bainbridge, Georgia. Inv. Edmond acknowledged and went to the traffic stop location. Inv. Edmond arrived on scene at 5:38 PM and made contact with Inv. Adam Mobley and Georgia State Patrol Trooper Steven Kornegay. Trooper Kornegay requested DCSO Investigators assistance with a felony amount of illegal drugs and a handgun that had been found in a red 2015 Nissan Altima sedan driven by Tshawnbee Dione Price.
