On December 05, 2020, at approximately 1701 hours, Deputy Jordan Phillips was traveling West on Highway 84 East. As Dep. Phillips was passing West Broad Street in Climax, Georgia, he observed two males walking. One of the males stumbled into the roadway. Dep. Phillips stopped his patrol vehicle and made contact with the two male subjects.
E-911 advised Dep. Phillips that Vaughn-Lindsey had two Active Warrants against him. Dep. Phillips advised E-911 to send the confirmations to the two agencies that produced the warrants. E-911 advised that Clayton County Sheriff’s Office wanted Vaughn-Lindsey taken into custody and a hold placed on him. Dep. Phillips advised Vaughn-Lindsey that he was be taken into custody. Vaughn-Lindsey was transported to the Decatur County Jail.

On December 05, 2020, at approximately 2140 hours, Deputy Jordan Phillips was located on Colquitt Highway at the intersection of Bethel Road, assisting Georgia State Patrol with a License check point. E-911 advised Dep. Phillips that Griffin had an Active Warrant out of Chipley, Florida, for Dangerous Drugs. Griffin was taken into custody and transported to the Decatur County Jail.
