On Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at approximately 1052 hours, Deputy Aaron Austin and Deputy Garrett Hanks responded to the Hampton Inn, 1522 Tallahassee Highway, in reference to a Warrant Check. Upon arrival, Deputy Austin spoke with Shawanna James and notified her that she had a Warrant. Deputy Austin ran Shawanna’s ID number through E-911 to confirmed she had a Probation Violation Warrant as well as a Warrant out of Bainbridge Public Safety. Shawanna was transported to the Decatur County Jail without incident.
