On June 24, 2020 at approximately 0110 hours, Decatur County Deputies responded to the area of Anderson Street and Louise Street, in reference to a Fleeing Suspect, that Officer Trent Olhousen, with Bainbridge Public Safety, was out with on a traffic stop. Upon arrival, Deputy Jordan Phillips and Sergeant Austin Spence made contact with Ofc. Olhousen to get information about the fleeing suspect. Deputies Dustin Strickland and Deputy Christopher Jackson began riding the area. Dep. Phillips spotted the subject behind the block structure, trying to hide behind a utility pole. The subject was escorted back to Japonica Drive, where he was turned over to Ofc. Olhousen.
