Hutto Middle School celebrated Black History Month with a program Tuesday, Feb. 26. Several groups participated in the program, including the BHS JRTC, the HMS Chorus and Band, students from the 21st Century After School program, and the Fashion Club. Mr. Michael Austin, Assistant Principal at HMS spoke about the history of Hutto focusing on contributions from George Reuben Hutto, Addie E. Hutto, and William David Mann, Sr. We were honored to have as our special guests Mr. Luther Conyers, Mrs. Pauline Love, and Ms. Mary Grant.
