Win Free Tickets to the Georgia National Fair!
Come to the library from now until September 29th for a chance to win free tickets to the 2018 Georgia National Fair, which is taking place in Perry from October 4-14! To enter to win free tickets, simply come to the library and enter your name into the drawing every time you check out materials. One entrance per checkout receipt. Winners for the drawing will be notified on October 1st.
Life Skills: Networking
Come to the library on Thursday September 27th at 5 pm to learn about the basics
of networking, presented by Allyson Whittaker of Southwest Georgia Protocol School. The library will host Life Skills on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5 pm during the school year, and the sessions will address various skills, such as interviewing and networking.
Knitting Club
The library is starting a Knitting Club! Come to the first meeting on Monday, October 1st at 6 pm. Please bring a size 9 bamboo knitting needle and one skein of yarn. Instruction for beginners will be provided.
