The Lady Cats Softball Varsity team is red hot this season with an impressive 12-0 record.
They are number one in Region 1 AAAAA and number two among all Georgia teams in AAAAA. The Lady Cats are ranked sixth among all classifications in the entire state of Georgia and are nationally ranked at number 20.
The senior players are the first class to be coached by Christopher Bryant for their entire high school career. “The senior leadership that we have has been playing with me for four years” said Head Coach Christopher Bryant. Bryant said that the leadership from the senior girls has been instrumental in achieving an undefeated record. Bryant is extremely proud of the way his players have performed so far this season. He attributes strong defensive play, outstanding pitching and consistent batting to the Lady Cats great success. Coach Bryant believes that his team has the best defense in all of the state.
The Lady Cats next game is at home against Colquitt County on Monday, September 10 at 5:30PM. The following game against Valdosta High will be at home Thursday, September 13 at 5:30PM.
