Terry LeDon Cowart, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery.

Terry LeDon Cowart was born September 11, 1943 in Columbus, GA, the son of D.B. and Mary Sheffield Cowart. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Jim Woodruff Dam near Chattahoochee, Florida. Terry loved coaching Little League Baseball, loved the outdoors and enjoyed Zydeco/Cajun dancing and music. A kind, caring man, he was devoted to his family, especially his four lovely granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Breeden Cowart; his son, Terry Cowart and his wife, Michele, of Clemmons, NC; his brothers, Don and Joe Cowart of Donalsonville, GA; and his four granddaughters, Delaney Cowart, Katie Cowart, Sophie Cowart and Mary Grace Cowart. Terry was preceded in death by his parents.
