Glenda Ann Chesser was born January 21, 1945 in Starke, Florida. Her parents, Earl Leslie Chesser and Gladys Mary Rahme Chesser have both preceded her in death. Glenda married the love of her life, Gordon Faircloth. She and Gordon have been married a few weeks short of 55 years. Family was what defined Glenda. As a homemaker, wife, mother of four, grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 16, she gave her all and loved each person deeply. Together, she and Gordon ran G. and G. Trucking Company. Truth be told, most of the “running” was done by Glenda. Glenda loved to go camping; the mountains brought her great joy. She loved flowers. Glenda sat many hours on her porch enjoying her flowers and watched the bird’s, especially the hummingbirds, and squirrels. She loved her dog, Little Bit. Glenda Faircloth will be deeply missed by her devoted family and many friends.

Glenda Ann Chesser Faircloth is survived by her husband, Gordon B Albert Faircloth of Climax, Georgia; children, Albert Glenn Faircloth and wife, Ronda of Whigham, Georgia, Sherri Denise Harrell and fiancé, Michael James Taylor of Whigham, Raymond Leslie Faircloth and wife, Michelle of Dixie, Georgia, and Mary Clifford Horton and husband, Eric of Whigham; sister, Janice Chesser Lawson of Starke; brothers, Jerry Chesser of Citra, Florida and Johnny Chesser of Whigham; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
