Forrest William (Billy) Cordell, III

Mr. Forrest William (Billy) Cordell, III, age 76, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at his home in Donalsonville, Georgia (Lake Seminole). A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cordell will be held at a later date.

Forrest William (Billy) Cordell, III was born July 16, 1941 in Cuthbert, Georgia. His parents, Forrest W. Cordell, II and Lois Ella Johnson Cordell, have preceded him in death. Billy Cordell lived much of his adult life in Panama City, Florida. He was an outstanding car salesman for Cook-Whitehead Ford. Billy was awarded many national, regional, and local car sales awards; including being named the Top Selling Salesperson for Ford Motor Company numerous times. He enjoyed working in the Jaycees and playing softball. Billy retired to Seminole County, Georgia and settled near Lake Seminole. There he enjoyed working in his yard, hunting, and fishing.

Forrest William (Billy) Cordell, III is survived by his daughters, Tanya Cordell-Glaize and husband, Brad of Savannah, Georgia and Pam Cordell Martino and husband, Thomas of Tampa, Florida; sister, Joy Steiner and husband, Van of Helena, Alabama; brother, Eddie Wiley of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren, Marcus Martino, Lara Colas and husband David, Thomas Martino, Jr., and Cord Glaize; great-grandson, Maximilien Colas; and long-time companion, Linda Gay of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by a precious little dog named, Gertie. Gertie was his constant companion during his entire illness.
